Today I worked until 12 at the pool, came home to shower etc., then started trimming bunny nails.
Oh my goodness; what a hassle! They hate it, to say the least. Struggling and fur flying...
I finally wrapped P up in a towel and poked his back feet out so those are done.
Dica tried the same thing with but only managed to do like 3 claws on one back foot.
They were both very mad at me and thumping feet when I put them down.

(Dica soon forgave me and sucked up nuzzling me. Perseus was fine as soon as he got a raisin - little piggy)

I just got back from Amanda and Jo's. Gosh that kid is cute. I'm taking care of her on Amanda's delivery day so we're all excited about that. Jo is potty training right now so I painted her nails while she was on her toilet. Gross to some, cute to others.

Gotta do dishes, vacuum, and take the garbage out before going to pick Niall up!

I'm at the pool until 4:30 today. It is sunny and lovely. Hopefully on my breaks I will sit outside in the sun and get a leg tan!

So my weekend has been pretty good so far. And because I'm in a good mood I shall try to write a couple of blog posts to update update update. There's not really all that much news... the pool has been going great and friends are all good.

I went out with the girls last night - Em's parents had a bbq so Rachel, Sarah and I were there then Sarah drove us + Em downtown to Social. Em started feeling sick so her and I left at midnight but it was fun with good music and dancing until then.

Today Ni and I went to Walmart and got a new bedspread for $20 (woo cheap!), a cutting board, a bathroom shelf organizer... we also went and got groceries. Making avocado and shrimp wraps this week! Yummy.

My Ma is coming into town today so I'm picking her up at the airport then her, Niall and I are going to Boston Pizza for dinner to watch the Canucks vs. Kings game (which we are going to win!).

Friday and Thursday were my (sort of) days off. I worked Thursday morning and babysat for Jo Thursday night. I did some shopping as well (oh and Saturday Jess and I did our weekly-ish trip downtown - I got Ni a Batman shirt!). Got a dress from Bryan's and 2 black tank tops from Gap and a pair of shorts.
I'm trying to turn over a new leaf and get dolled up and dress much more girlie. Trying to get out of the sweatpants and loose, baggy tshirts phase. Niall thinks I dress like a grandma...

Anyways, will try to post photos later. Have been not so great with the camera/outfit posts lately. Yipes.

I dug out my old lab coat, and borrowed some shades.

A couple Mondays ago Niall and I took Jo and her mama Amanda to the petting zoo.

Here's my new hair! Got it cut on Friday, just sat myself down in the chair and let her snip away. It's a bit shorter than I wanted (and so much harder to style) but it will grow.

Going to go back to brown (I re-dyed Fri am - last box of red) once it grows out a bit and I can see what colour my roots truly are!

So I have one box of red dye left and a hair appt to get a trim at 2:30.

An episode of Gossip Girl is downloading,

and I think I have 2 Grey's Anatomy and 2 ANTM episodes to catch up on...

hair cut and dye?

It's time for a change.

I'm getting sick of the red hair (mostly the upkeep). The first week and a half that my hair is dyed, it looks great. Then the pool begins to kill it. It fades, and I keep getting split ends.
I'm thinking of going back to my natural brown. I don't actually remember what colour it is so I'm looking at pictures from a couple of summers ago so I can figure out the closest match.
Or maybe I will just go for a chocolate brown and see how it fades out!
Also, I'm wanting a haircut. Not sure how short, probably just a trim to get the ends off, but I want a change! I liked how short it was in August, but it was a pain because I couldn't put it in a ponytail. Hmm...

Perseus' favourite game is running back and forth behind the closed blinds in the living room.
So cute, and noisy.

The hand lotion cap was clogged today so when I pressed down it squirted all over the ceiling.

I'm thinking of dying my hair back to brown.

rough patch

Please excuse my absence. I'm going through a rough patch with the boyfriend and home life right now. I will be missing in action until I update, no idea when I will feel like it.

getting lippy

So today I bought some lipstick.
This is a big deal for me, because it's rare that I wear anything on my lips.
Even my Vitamin E lip balm from the Body Shop doesn't get on them too often.
My lips are often chapped and nibbled on...

so I got Revlon's Kiss Me Coral.

Lipstick for me has always been kind of an old lady idea.
Or bad memories from my years of dance (bright reds, blacks, silvers, etc).
I'm hoping this will be a fun slide into the grown up make up phase...

And maybe distract people from my green jawline.
(Yup, still bruised)

snatch fest

Last night was the first Snatch Fest of the new lessons set. We went to Beacon Hill Drive In, where we had sundaes - mmm. Then through Uplands to Starbucks which we took back to my house. Tried to take some photos of the gang... Emily was not cooperating.

We are getting ready for summer!

It was a very pain filled day.
