It's September the First - a new month right smack dab in the middle of the week.
Have been off the pool since Friday so my days are kind of running into each other.
I had a lovely (short) afternoon downtown with Jess, and a morning with Amanda and the wee ones. Funny, as we were playing Wii Fit.

A good Wednesday.

was blocked off today for a big shopping event so Sarah, Rachel and I headed down there.

So every morning I've been eating breakfast (which I usually never do) on my sundeck.
Because it has actually been getting warm sunshine in the morning.
It's been beautiful lately, so I sit out there tanning until it's time to leave for work.

I want to make it pretty. Get some cushions to lay on, and some plants.

I'm finally making my home my own.

We did breakfast at The Lakes, spent the day laughing and making drinks, then went to a friends home to predrink, then down to Plan B. An excellent day!

My goodness, so sore from Pole Dancing class last night. I haven't been for two weeks due to my knee dislocating. I can sure feel the burn!

I'm rearranging my house today. I get bored of it so often. I think it's the white walls.
I also really need to do some outfit posts. I've just not been motivated lately.

I want to go outside, play frizbee and volleyball, baseball and football. Like Come ON. It's summer!

A New Era

There's been a helluva lotta changes happening lately.
Niall and I broke up.
Niall finally moved out July 2nd.
I've been working/grieving/keeping myself busy...


and it's now my birthday week!
I saw week because the family celebrations have already started.
22 on the 22nd of July (Thursday!) and I couldn't be more excited!!!

Another fantastic night out at Plan B with the ladies.

We had SF last night (girls' night) out at Rachel's. She is our newest member and hosted in her backyard, complete with two cats and a fire pit.
We did hot dogs and smores... then checked out her stripper pole. So awesome! I tried to climb it then slide down, right onto my bad knee.
I am hobbling now and haven't been in this much actual knee pain in a year or so! [my knee aches and is sore everyday but it's because I have tendon degeneration, dislocating knee cap, and tendonitis]

ARGH!

Must head to the pool for my 2.5 hour teaching shift then report card time! At least it's sunny today...

i wish i was at the beach today.
