It was sunshine galore yesterday, so I snapped a few (okay a lot) of photos. A little narcissistic but that's okay once in awhile. I just love my red hair so much and I feel like a new person with it, brighter, more beautiful, more fun.

The family has vamoosed!

Well, it is Wednesday and my family has gone home. Woo, 4 people sharing one small bathroom was a bit of a trial. I had the couch and tonight I get to see my man!!!

Today I'm babysitting and while baby is sleeping, I am blogging and checking out some lovely blogs. I've got on my new boombox necklace, scarf, AE jeans, AE black top and the boyfriend's sweater. **snapped on the webcam so not great quality**


I still need to figure out what shoes I am going to have for spring. My trench is beige/khaki so I'm thinking a cognac brown boot type. No luck on the search yet... Oh well.

viva las vegas

Well, the parents arrived back from Las Vegas last night with a lot of stories, a Coach purse for Mom, and a Roxy tank and zippy for me!
They also gave my sister and I used playing cards from one of the casinos... kind of gross but I will steralize.

Today was classes, and my Mickey Mouse clock for the kitchen is almost dead. On the brighter side, I got my car back!!! She is fixed and CLEAN. That was a nice surprise.
To celebrate, I drove to the mall and got a necklace and scarf from Aldo.

monday blues

so incredibly tired this morning. i have been sleeping alone since friday and i do not like it!
my man is like my own personal furnace, he keeps me warm and snuggles me close. i miss him.
took my car in to get her lock fixed, and also have work this afternoon.

right now i need to clean my bedroom. then vacuum. and drop N's laundry off...

i wish i could have a nap.

my sister is incredibly noisy in the morning... so much for a sleep-in!

Yesterday I was a bit frazzled. Usually on the weekends my boyfriend and I have a set plan of what we are going to do. Well, he is at his house studying and my sister was into tv mode. She did some math homework, but seriously... was not ready for the day until 2:30!
I played with Boudica and did some stuff around the house but I was going stir crazy and needed to get out of the house.

We ended up going downtown yesterday afternoon. Went into some of the good stores (HtO, Mango, Club Monaco, Le Chateau, Paboom, etc.) and I ended up getting a lovely spring-ish jacket! I've been wanting a new coat because my Hurley wool peacoat I've had since last July and it really isn't cutting it for me.

Erin (my little sister) broke her bag she had been carrying around. It was a simple tote from Nova Scotia. We went into Aldo and she ended up getting my purse in brown (I'm not too sure how I feel about this. My purses are my babies and she isn't very kind to her clothing). We don't live with each other so we won't be too matchy all the time...

I'm very happy with it, and when we were out last night (movie store, Thrifty's) a boy smiled and waved at me while walking by me. It was odd, hasn't happened to me in quite some time! Not that I'm super ugly or anything, I just don't really dress up or go out.

We had a night in watching Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and making chocolate fondue with my cousin Amanda. Very fun in all :)

E is going to her swim course today so I'm driving her there before 9 and then picking her up around 5:30 tonight. We will then be dying her hair... she still needs to pick out a colour.

Finally, a nice sunny day. I have the most wicked hiccups right now, the kind that totally rock your body (but not in the Justin Timberlake way). I am doing laundry and my mom/sister are heading down as I... type.
My little sis is here for the weekend while my parents go to Vegas. Excellent. We are going to dye her hair and possibly go shopping. Teehee, trala.

It is raining. Again.
It is supposed to rain until Saturday - when it becomes sunny.
My sister is coming for the weekend tomorrow afternoon (she's on spring break right now) and we're getting together with my bff/cousin for a girlie night on Saturday. Chocolate fondue and chick flicks!

Niall and I had a horrible sleep last night. Alan, the roomate, turned the heat on high (him and Ni have wars about this) and it was just tossing and turning and bedhogging (whoops) all night. Gross. I feel totally worn out and have since the time change. Hopefully I will catch up on my sleep soon!

Tomorrow (Thursday) my poor car has to go into the shop because of the break in. Not too happy about that, also worry about her. I worry about Boudica all the time. I hope I don't get an ulcer!

Saturday... a month after Valentines' and I'm feeling lonely

I should be doing that as well, but it's 9:30 - I have yet to shower and eat brekkie.

So, back from the mall. Had no luck with the coral necklace but am on a waiting/phone list for when it comes into one of the stores in town.
Also, the bag from Gap was not big enough for my lappy and to substitute as a purse. Nor were any other bags in the mall... boo.

BUT!

I got am AMAZING pair of heels from Le Chateau. I am in lurve lurve lurve lurve lurve!!!!!!!
$69.98 but with takes took them up to $78. So incredibly comfy, and nice and high!

Has anyone seen the new La Senza ads (in store) for the bridal gear?
Totally and utterly gorgeous. Steph and I went in yesterday and I asked what they do with the posters after they are done... boohoo, they return them. So that sucks. I would totally have purchased the two that I saw and hung them on my wall at home.
So now, I am trying to find the picture so I can get them printed off at Walmart!

finally, some sunny weather! It snowed yesterday, if you can believe. I got a good 3" on my grass, and it was soo pretty, in a grey sort of way.

Today it's nice and sunny, and I'm going out for lunch with one of my girlfriend's who I probably haven't seen in almost a year. Wait, maybe in October I saw her? Anyways, we're doing lunch and then I'm redying my hair.

I've been doing L'Oreal Feria #74 Deep Copper Bronze... I think today I'll go for L'Oreal Superior Preference in either:
46 red copper auburn
48 copper blonde
or RP07 intense red copper.
I'm hoping to get my hair to the shade of the posted picture:

Boudica has been running around the house like crazy. I blocked off the living room and half my bedroom but she keeps going under the bed. Crazy little bunny. She's also chewing on the place where all my floorboards are supposed to be. Not good!
Hopefully she will have a nap while I'm out, I don't want to come home to a destroyed house.

Okay - so I got a new laptop and have since been lugging it around in a beach bag, and also carrying my purse (http://www.aldoshoes.com/ca-eng/handbags/shoulder-bags-totes/product/71693297-vittorito/98).

Spring Forward

So, a reminder to set your clocks forward one hour (as of last night). Ahh, it's already after 1 but I'm feeling it to be lunch time.

So yesterday was a very fun day.

- update: Boudica is fast asleep snuggled up to her little grey bunny stuff, flopped on a pile of towels. AWWWW! -

Ni bought a paintball gun and balls a few weeks ago and we went out to play with his cousin's boyfriend and brothers. SO much fun, running all around outside shooting things! We played free for all, capture the flag, storm the fort and others that I don't remember having names. I wasn't too great of a shot but as it was my first time I wasn't too worried. Hopefully we will be able to play again. It began to snow while we were playing (we played for 3 hours!) and it was so beautiful. I wish I had been able to take a picture but didn't want my camera getting shot.

Then last night we went over to Ni's sisters for dinner. Had chili with cupcakes and cheesecake for dessert. Played Cranium Wow (which Ni and I won) and then Rock Band. It was a very fun evening.

We came home to Boudica who was on top of her barrier... she can now jump over it into the living room. Uh oh! Fast little bunny she is. Very sneaky and smart. But so tuckered out right now. Awe, I love my baby.


Anyways, more updates to come. Right now I need to do some home work. My Dad is back from Cambodia, hurray. Glad he made it home safe.

Cleaning house today. A whole bunch of laundry, and hanging up clothes.


Boudica is in the kitchen where it's sunny... she was moved into Niall's room (at his house) last night because the boys' have a new roomate: Shaun. I dislike him. He is dirty, smokes, and I remember him as a rude, troublesome boy from highschool. Hopefully he has changed...


I also had to give him my key this morning. I've had a key to Ni's apartment since September. Now it feels like I'm getting kicked out. It really sucks. I do like having Boudica in the same room as us at night, though. Makes me worry less. For all I know, Shaun may eat her (ha).




We rearranged Niall's room the other night (I didn't know Shaun was moving in, I was just happy to change it up). It seems more open and bright now, I really like it.




I'm always over there so my house has been disused, cold, and somewhat cluttered.


Well, today I'm going to change that. I think I won't be hanging out at Niall's as much anymore, so I will do what I can over here to make it more homey and warm.




I definetly need to put some of my pictures up. My bedroom (with the teal walls) is totally blank, and it is kind of sad. The bed is in the middle of the room with my desk over here by the window (where the internet it)... Hmm, maybe a disposable camera is in order to snap some photos???
